The purpose of the present investigation was to develop a gastro-retentive cilnidipine loaded floating microspheres. microspheres were prepared by solvent evaporation method for oral drug delivery using HPMCK4M and ethyl cellulose as polymers. evaluated particle size, content, entrapment efficiency time. in-vitro study performed in pH 1.2 determine amount released. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM) check surface morphology mean size range 226.85 – 339.42µm. content more than 70% obtained between 64.64 83.0%. buoyancy than70%. Cumulative % release 73.12 89.68%. results showed that smooth spherical.The reveals extended time, this methods enhanced polymer increased or concentration also leads increase size. decreased increased.
